1. What do I need for a finance application?
For Personal finance, we will require a valid UK/EU driving license and UK bank details, for Business Finance we will require a valid UK/EU license, 3 months' bank statements and the Director's information.
2. Can I settle my finance early?
Yes, if you have taken out personal vehicle finance, you can settle your finance at any time which reduces the interest amount to be paid. If you have business finance, as this is unregulated, you may be required to pay the full amount of interest when settling the finance early.
3. Can I buy the vehicle outright?
Yes, we accept outright purchases on our vehicles, payment would need to be made via card on-site or bank transfer.
4. Do you take Trade-in / Part Exchanges?
Yes, we offer competitive prices for trade-in vehicles and part exchanges, we can accept cars and vans to be traded in of all ages and mileage. As long as the vehicle has 3 months validity on the MOT and is driveable.
5. Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we can arrange for your vehicle to be delivered directly to you within 3 days of completing the purchase, delivery charges may apply.
6. Can I drive away on the same day
Yes, you can visit our showroom, choose a vehicle and within 2 hours you can be driving away in your new vehicle.
7. Do you offer drive-away insurance?
Yes, we can provide you with temporary insurance, Temporary insurance providers charge a small fee to insure the vehicle for a short period of time.
8. Do you provide a full insurance policy?
Yes, we can provide you with a fully comprehensive insurance quote.
9. Do you offer vehicle security?
Yes, Auto Capital is a one-stop shop for commercial vehicles, we offer starter packs which include heavy-duty floor mats, tailor-made seat covers and a free dash cam, we also offer insurance-approved Trackers and Security locks. We like to prepare the van ready to go straight into work, if you require roof racks, ply lining, tow bars and reverse cameras, these can be completed prior to collection or can be fitted at your location.
10. Do you offer vehicle warranty?
Yes, as an RAC agent, we offer tailor-made warranties for all our commercial vehicles, there are 1 year, 2 year and 3-year options, and can be activated to start the moment your manufacturer warranty expires, the extended warranty options are supplied at an additional cost, ask a member of our sales team for more information.
11. Can I Reserve the vehicle?
Yes, you can pay a £99 refundable online reservation or call a member of our sales team to place a £99 refundable holding deposit on the vehicle, this secures the vehicle for 3 days to give you a chance to visit us and inspect the vehicle.
12. Can I buy the vehicle without visiting the showroom?
Yes, we can send you the walk around video, the vehicle inspection report and all relevant information to ensure you are purchasing the correct vehicle for your requirements. We can also deliver the vehicle directly to your home or work place and give you a chance to inspect the vehicle before accepting delivery.
13. Is there any hidden fee's?
No, we do not have any hidden fee's on stock vehicles.
14. Can I test drive the vehicle?
Yes, we can offer same day test drive on the vehicle you have chosen, we encourage test drives to give you a better understanding of the vehicle drive and usability prior to purchasing.
15. Can I buy multiple vehicles?
Yes, as we stock over 500 units on site, we can supply you with more than one vehicle on a like for like basis or a different vehicle of your choosing, we can also offer you fleet purchase options.
16. Are all your vehicles plus VAT?
No, we have a huge selection of vehicles which are VAT qualifying and a small selection of vehicles which have NO VAT, ask a member of our sales team for more information.
17. Do you have any ULEZ or Euro 6 Vehicles?
Yes, all our vehicles are Euro 6 and ULEZ compliant.
18. Do your vans have scratches or dents?
Yes, some of our stock vehicles may have imperfections, we do highlight them on our vehicle inspection reports and walk around videos to ensure there are no hidden imperfections.
19. Are your vehicles inspected before sale?
Yes, all our vehicles undergo a thorough inspection to meet the RAC guidelines, this is a 115 point check with reports provided prior to purchase and upon request, the vehicles will then have a final PDI check before we handover the keys.
20. What do I do if my vehicle breaks down?
All our vehicles are supplied with a FREE 12 months RAC breakdown cover, some manufacturers offer free breakdown cover throughout the duration of warranty.
21. What if there is a fault with the vehicle?
Not a problem, you can simply contact our aftercare team via phone, email or directly through our website and a member of the team will call to assist you further.
22. Are your vehicles HPI Clear
Yes all our vehicles are HPI clear unless stated otherwise. HPI reports are available upon request.
23. Do you take Cash payments?
As of January 2022, we will not be taking any cash payments, all payments must be completed via bank transfer, chip and pin or finance.
24. Do you supply GAP insurance
Yes, we supply GAP insurance for finance and self funded vehicles, our GAP insurance is valid between 36 and 60 months and covers personal/business use, PCO and Couriers.
25. What's the best price?
With our ability to purchase our stock in bulk, we can supply our vehicles at very competitive prices, this allows us to pass the savings onto our customers. We daily check our prices to ensure we are competitive, we all want the best deal and we are confident in our prices and ensuring you get the best deal.
26. Can you price match?
Yes, if you can find a like for like vehicle, same age, spec and mileage at a more competitive price with another dealer in London, we will price match.
27. Where are you located and your opening hours?
Our showroom is located in London, we are 5 mins walk from Cannon's Park Tube station on the Jubilee line, if you prefer to visit us by car, 7 Parr Road, Stanmore, London, HA7 1LE and this will bring you direct to our showroom, we have on site parking. Our showroom is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 3pm.
28. I have not received my logbook, what do I do?
We submit all our transfer of ownerships online and keep an email copy for reference, if your V5 has not arrived within 6 weeks of purchase, you would need to complete a V62 form online or at the post office. This allows you to get a replacement V5, if you have the V5c2 you will not be charged, if you have lost your V5c2 you will be charged a £25 fee.
29. Are the vehicles taxed?
As road tax is non transferable, you would need to tax the vehicle prior to driving away, a member of our sales team can assist you in taxing the vehicle online or you can tax the vehicle at the post office.
30. Does the vehicle have an MOT?
Majority of our stock is under 3 years old and will not require an MOT, if the MOT is due within 6 months, we will provide you with a new MOT.
31. Are you outside the London congestion zone?
Yes, our showroom is outside any congestion charge Zone, however, we are within the M25 Low Emissions Zone.
32. Are you within any local public transport?
Yes, Cannons Park Station (Jubilee Line) is within a 5 min walk to our showroom
33. What checks do you do?
We check all our vehicles before selling them; we carry out an RAC 115 point check on all our vehicles. All our Vehicles comes with a HPI Certificate. We can offer to give you this result prior to purchase.
34. How do I claim back the VAT if I am exporting the vehicle outside the UK?
We will need you to provide us with delivery details including transportation invoices, also a bill of laden for pay-outs of registration for that country of export. We will need your company VAT number, company letterhead and a copy of a cancelled cheque or paying in slip, once we can Validate this then we will be able to zero-rate the VAT.
