Taking charge of extra charges
It's no secret that the world is changing in many ways. One important way it's changing is the necessity to make our way of living a greener way of living. That's why the ULEZ (Ultra Low Emissions Zone) was introduced on 8th April 2019, leading to a 20% reduction in emissions by July 2019.
The thing is, Londoners don't want to pay extra charges on top of the Congestion Charge in Central London between 7:00am and 10:00pm, seven days a week. After all, the ULEZ rate applies 24 hours a day, and costs £12.50 for most vehicle types, including cars, motorcycles, and vans (up to and including 3.5 tonnes). However, it can go up to £100 for heavier vehicles, including lorries (over 3.5 tonnes) and buses or coaches (over 5 tonnes)
